Buffalo sauce: anyone make his/her own?
A recipe* I'd like to try calls for a 'bottle of your favorite buffalo sauce.' I just KNOW there has to be a better, less salt version than what's on the stuper shelves. Anyone have a recipe? Thanks.
*recipe is for crockpot buffalo meatballs made with ground chicken..... |

I've never heard of or seen a bottle of BS. heheh Are you talking about "buffalo wing" sauce? If so, that's only butter and hot sauce mixed. |

The recipe we got from a Buffalonian eons ago says to add a tablespoon of white vinegar to the melted butter/hot sauce mixture. We use Crystal because it's readily available and we like the taste. |
