It figures you'd own a big vicious slobber-knocker like that.

Which one of you is stupider?

What a cute pup! Is she a Beagle? My grandfather used to raise Beagles, and I've had a couple myself. Fun dogs.

Yup! and there is another rescue dog in the back (depends on picture).

Iowna is the little tri-color beagle who got glaucoma age 9 and came to
us fully blind age 11. She's the one missing an eye with the remaining
eye not looking normal (ablation treatment, stable and no pain).
Awesome grins!

The Cat is Daisy-chan, believe it or not, a rescue feral. Sheldon is
the one here who can speak to doing that.

If you wandered, there a tan an white 'beagle'. Thats Cash. He's a
mix. Joke is it's beagle and bull mastiff, because in person that is
what he looks like. he's currently 47lbs and underweight.

Filter along and you might see Aunti Mabel, also a tri-color beagle
(mix). She was deaf but could see. She has long legs for her body type
and had horrid allergies. There's a few pics of her in her first day
here where you can see holes in her skin and a seeping belly with no
fur. Don't worry, she got better. Believed to be age 18 on adoption,
she graced us for 2.5 years.

Cats are often unpredictable like that, just because they might have
been ferals doesnt mean they stay that way. I know a number of cats,
(born tame) that appear to be both feral and perfectly tame at the
same time - by that I mean they'll stay home, eat and sleep... then
disappear for a week, or even a month. Then they come home again and
resume all the domestic cat things.

Sad and happy smile at same time, sorry I was not very accurate. Aunti
Mabel (also a tri-color beagle mix but long legs for the breed) passed
on estimated age 20.5 per the vets. That was 2013. We adopted Iowna
not too much longer after that.

Cash (the tan and white beagle mix one) would be about 9 now. Iowna
(tricolor pure breed beagle) came with an actual birth certificate and
will be 14 on 2 July 2016. Daisy-chan (cat, white) is hard to date but
vets say she can't have been less than 8 when we got her in 2007.
Can't be less than 16 now, might be closer to 19 (hard to tell when you
hit that zone for cat).

No intent to confuse there, I just worded it wrong.

Carol
