In an illustration by William Pene du Bois for the minor children's classic "Twenty and Ten" (aka "The Secret Cave"), a little boy (this is during WWII) is taking candy and oranges out of a box. One candy is clearly Toblerone.. Another bar of chocolate is simply rectangular, but the design on the wrapper seems to be four linked circles.
You can see it he http://cdn.rainbowresource.netdna-cd...s/012008c1.jpg Is this based on an actual brand, and if so, which? Thanks. For those who don't know, the story - about children in France hiding Jewish children from the Nazis - is based on a true story that was also turned into the 1985 TV movie "Miracle at Moreaux" with Loretta Swit (from TV's MASH) and Robert Joy (from CSI) and Marsha Moreau (the voice of Madeline from the cartoons).
