I'm not like your mother so no need to agree with Cheryl. I did not
intend for it to sound mean. I'm only 5'3" tall. Before I developed
Crohn's Disease I weighed about 130 lbs. Pretty much what I'd expect
for my height, age and general living habits. I was fine with it.

Then I dropped about 20 lbs in a couple of months without changing a
thing. It wasn't planned, it was alarming. I went to the doctor. It
took about a month before the medication I'm taking helped me get back
to 125-130.

I was sincere in offering my congratulations to Cindy. Anyone who wants
to lose weight and has found a successful way to do it, kudos!

Thank you, Gary. I'm a small person. I believe a lot of it is genetic.

When I think about it, I doubt the US Marines *today* would allow my
father to enlist if he was once again 17 years old. He was only about
5'8" tall and likely only weighed about 150 lbs when he enlisted. But
hey, it was WWII, right after Pearl Harbor. Everyone joined up.

Mom told me she weighed about 95 lbs. when they got married in 1951.
I've got pictures. Her dress hung on her tiny frame.

I get it from my parents.

Perhaps if you'd stop eating at McD's? (teasing!!!)

I agree.

Thanks. I don't eat much as it is, Gary. The medication for the
Crohn's Disease has things under control. I'm back to what feels
"normal" for me. I have never been a very active person so no, I'm not
going to start taking a Roomba class.

Understood Jill. It happens. Me, I'm 132 today (Dr's appointment, got
weighed). The Doc is happy but says for my back, 120 would be more
optimal. Since I'm 5ft1, that is a reasonable weight at 120 and 132
isn't really that big for 5ft1. More like a pint sized size 14 (grin).

Until I hit my 40's, I struggled with being underweight. Almost got
pulld off shipboard duty when I hit a drastic 88lbs (normal then was
100 but CPO initiation can be stressful). I'll not see 100 again and
and do not WANT to be that thin ever again. I like the curves.

Cindy will find her happy point as well and I wish her joy.
Personally, I'm ok with 132 just fine. Doc is the one who says my back
will ease with a minimal loss. At 132 now, I've slimmed some 8lbs
since last check.
