Liverwurst

Served on Rye with Dijon Onion
Choice of Side
$8.50

Blue Plate:

Blackened Tilapia
Served over Garden Salad
Choice of Dressing
$11.00

Okay, I'm not paying $8.50 for liverwurst. And what the hell is a Dijon
Onion?!

Thanks for the explanation. I would have thought Dijon mustard with
onion would apply.

I love liverwurst sandwiches but that is something that I don't trust
to anyone else. I don't think I would enjoy it with Dijon onion
The interesting item is the blackened tilapia -- tilapia is a pretty
fragile fish when cooked. I can't imagine how it can be blackened
without really beating it up, over cooking, etc.

I agree about the fish, Janet. Blackened would make more sense if we
were talking about fish steaks. Then again, it's served over salad so
maybe then intend for it to fall apart and just look as if it was
"blackened". Perhaps they used some of Paul Prudhommes (died last year)
blackened seasoning. I don't plan on ordering it.

I'd guess it wasn't proof read, should have been Dijon mustard and
onion. I like a quality liverwurst, braunschieger actually. I like
mustard but I don't like Dijon mustard, I'd much prefer a good deli
mustard or a coarse ground horseradish mustard. I'd think most people
would want onions on the side, not everyone likes raw onions on their
sandwiches... I'd want paper thin sliced sweet onions on liver
sausage, but I'd want to add them myself. I also much prefer to build
my own liver sausage sandwhich... on a hard onion roll... I like real
brawnscheiger, the kind in natural casings. Brawnscheiger is
typically lightly smoked and coarser than liverwurst.

I don't like any blackened fish, my few experiences was that it tasted
like it fell off the grill and got coated with charcoal ashes... just
serve fish with a salt shaker filled with powdered charcoal and let
people blacken to taste.

I've seen a lot of places sprinkle on the seasoning and broil
the fish. That would help the structural integrity of a fragile
fish. But it's not what I would call properly blackened.

You do know tialpia is grown in sewer water, right? That is why they chose
the tilapia over other equally fast growing fresh water fish. It takes a
lot to kill one.

I agree. I think the sides of the brick should be concave and the

I agree with both of you (I think we've had this conversation before)
but I just have no luck with what's left of the american limburger
"industry." When I was a youngster in Cincinnati (early '50s) we bought
american limburger in 16+ oz bricks. As I recall it was mostly from
Penna (Amish, I think) and after a day or three out of the fridge the
brick was (as Janet described) concave and the cheese had the
consistency of ... paint ... or something like that. (BTW, I don't
remember seeing any "best by" or "expiration" date on this cheese. Some
was prepackaged in several layers of paper & foil but you could also get
it cut and wrapped in the market.) Slice some onion and get some dark
rye and your favorite beer.

I like Bayerische OK, but the old american cheese was better. They made
it once, I'm certain they could do it again.

Sorry, this is old man talk ... nothing is as good now as it once was. I
remember my dad used to talk like this ... I'll go to bed now.

Good night,
Dave, in the Ozarks

this reminds me of a trip to Morton's Steakhouse. I ordered a small
filet listed on the menu for $80. The waiter plopped it on the table
in front of me. I could not believe my eyes. The steak was burned to a
crisp on both sides with a little pink strak in the middle. I told the
waiter my steak was burnt. He said oh no Sir, we heat the grill to
1000 degrees and this steak is cooked to perfection. I told him to
take it away...and no, I did not want any other food from these
idiots.

etc.

YOU did that, you evil *******!

And then you had the hubris to actually GLOAT about in public saying:

She should call the cops. I've already publicly admitted it is me so
a conviction should be a piece of cake and then forging would stop.
So what's stopping her? I think she suffers from Bovism - she just
loves the attention and drama and screw the rest of the group.

And before that you literally stalked poor Omelet, a local Auustin
favorite, right off the Usenet!

In your worst moment ever you actually begged her to KILL you:

Sorry I don't fit either of your Ideal Psycho Pal Profiles.

I'd prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away.
There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then after having your nose rubbed in your filthy criminal stalking you
came back with, not an apology, nor the slightest remorse, just this:

"The facebook group is much more pleasant."

But we all know that's only because you cower over there in mortal fear
of being booted by the FB admins.

You're _so done_ here virus, I mean really ****ing done.

I'm making you a project like no other, expect a lot more of your evil
abuse and hatred to be aired for all to see here.

And we both know there's a google archive full of your hatred of women
just waiting to be hung out on the virtual clothesline to dry.

Enjoy then, you rotten, worthless misogynistic *******!

No one cares.

You criminally STALK and ABUSE women, you sick little dwarfy man!

Here's what you did when you went all over the Usenet impersonating the
well-liked regular named "sf" and posting all her personal data on the
net against her will, including her:

* home address
* age
* cell phone number
* husband's name

etc.

YOU did that, you evil *******!

And then you had the hubris to actually GLOAT about in public saying:
