I even provided the link for you. Beats me. Tell ya what Columbo, have a look at the headers. You'll find either the the message orignated from or the ISPs domain. Then compare it to one on this thread and you'll see they do not match at all. DO an rDNS lookup on the IP and tell me what part of the country it originated in. Hint: I live in SoCal. I'm not some desperate troll like you and squishie or any of the other names you boobs have been using to flood this group recently. You two and that bozo Greg Morrow. Yes, well that is a possibility. I still use OE for possibly that same reason. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus |

I received 3 emails today with that line that all had infected attachments. A really free antivirus software (clamav) on my server detected and quarantined them. And clamav doesn't advertise. Even when it scans OUTGOING email on my server. It just quietly does its job--and does it quite well. -ray |

Even >when it scans OUTGOING email on my server. It just quietly does its >job--and does it quite well. Precisely. I've used Clamwin on this machine for around 5 years now with no issues whatsoever and no other bullshit to put up with just because it's free either. Note the intentionally incorrect sig delimiter that Avast uses, to circumvent email and news clients automatically removing the sig from any replies. Now that's a class act... who would trust an AV when they do that?? |
