I'm pretty sure in many countries recliners are illegal. Someone once gifted me a motorized recliner, with vibrater and heat... first thing I did was take a pair of dykes to the wire right at the motor so it couldn't recline... a few months later It went to the curb, was very uncomfortable and took up too much room.
