And for all you Democrats for life, let's not forget Kennedy and Johnson escalating the Vietnam war in which over 58,000 young Americans died (my generation). Johnson is mostly responsible, imo, sending in the military to fight with one hand tied behind their back. Nixon gets some of the blame too though. He took it down but saved ending it completely until he won the 2nd election. A political move that cost more american lives. |

Bush started ranting about how countries were either with the US or with the terrorists. Colin Powell got up in front of the UN Security Council with his Power Point presentation with some facts, satellite images of trucks and artists renderings of what mobile and chemical warfare labs might look like. Not everyone bought into the argument. The argued against the factoids of the vast arsenal of WMDs and against the wisdom of deposing the guy who was keeping a lid on radicals at home. |
