Personally, I think these food-eating "contests" should go the way of the
dinosaurs. They are disgusting and have no purpose other than being
an example of America's love of conspicuous excess.

Oh lighten up. It's fun and weird to watch. Can you just imagine eating
70 dogs and buns in just 10 minutes? It's like the Roman Gladiator
arena thing to watch. hahahaha

I wonder if they go bulimic afterwards? I would suspect so.

Still that contest is a wonder.
Imagine a plate of 70 dogs on buns.
Imagine that will fit into your body.
In 10 minutes.
WTF?

I doubt I could eat more than four dawgs at the most. I usually eat
two but I really load them up with kraut. I like good kraut so much I
can eat two pounds of cold kraut at one sitting, I can eat four pounds
if cooked.

The sure are. Typically, they are young, slim, tiny, gals that do some unbelievable things. They are stars in Japan.

I don't get it but there are many contests and challenges. Man vs Food
was on TV for a season or so and most required you eat about 5 pounds of
food.

Itwould take me a couple of days to finish off 70 hot dogs.

That is how I feel about football. At least the food events are not
gross exhibitions of violence.

Hey, was there a riot after the hot dog eating contest?
