Great house sale find
I just had to brag. I went to a house sale yesterday and found a Kitchenaid
rotary vegetable slicer with its four cones new in the box for eight bucks! It will be fun to try--especially since my 25 year old Cuisinart is starting to fall apart. I've heard that the old French made Cuisinarts lasted a lot longer than the new ones and I'm not sure what to replace it with. Fran |

My Cuisinart is only 7 years old and showing no signs of conking out, although the white plastic base has turned yellow. It does everything I need it to do, including whip things with a beater attachment, but still...I like all those extra prep bowls on your Kitchenaid... Today I used it to make pizza and foccaccia via Mark Bittman's recipe, with the regular, not the dough blade. A snap. L. |
