Jebus got it right and I already yielded to other's use of cars. For me, it's mostly only a mile to the grocery store. I also limit other shopping to within a few miles. I like Walmart but it's an 18 mile round trip. For that reason only, I shop there once every 2 years or so. You don't need to be so uppity which you certainly are lately. I'm admittedly lower middle class. I have learned to live frugally and I accept it. And I'm happy. I don't resent at all people that make more money than I do. I would certainly never criticize the people that make less than me. Any job is a good job, Janet. I drive a company van, all expenses paid. That's a good company benefit over working pay. I have full permission to use it personally too but I don't abuse that privilege. My personal mileage is only a few gallons of gas per month. For this reason, I don't own a car right now. I seriously don't need one. |

Among fellow > Americans, it helps to know the state, or at least which section. So you enjoyed all the bitching about me living in a horrible Shopping Centre??? She thought I lived in an awful place which somebody (in the 60s I think) had done a bad write up on. She was too stupid to realise it was about a shopping centre. Do you like it when someone is made to look bad for where they live??? Because that is what is going on here. It was hilarious when to outdo me, she posted about the dreadful conditions she lived in as a child!!! She ought to have been the last person trying to pull me down for where she thought I lived. Incidentally, that shopping centre is really nice, but I still don't live in it! I don't care where people live and I am not interested on someone bitching about others' living conditions UNLESS they want to tell us. Going on and on about where someone lives doesn't make the one bitching look clever, it actually makes them look stupid and nasty. Such illusions of superiority!! Ask me about where I live (with real interest) not to put me down and I will be happy enough to tell you. -- http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/shop/ |

You could still ignore those posts. If I open one say by yourself and at the top I see Julie's name, I know you are nitpicking something and I go on to the next post. It's quite simple. |
