Default Pot cover for bread

I don't know why I didn't think of this before! I just finished baking half
a recipe of whole wheat rolls. As the dough rises, it needs to be covered. I
have tried a variety of things to cover, all with various issues. But I
thought to try my Kuhn Rikon silicone pot cover. Perfect! I did put the
dough in my very largest metal bowl just to be safe. But I also did this the
last time with the full recipe and it worked great! Might not work if the
recipe makes a large amount of dough that rises up a lot. But it sure beats
having a bowl cover, plastic wrap or a towel falling down onto the dough.

You missed the point. In the past, I have used towels, plastic wrap and more
recently, a bowl cover to cover the dough. All usually wind up slipping down
and touching the dough. This did not. Come to think of it, I could probably
just put the dough in my turkey roaster with the domed lid if I have a large
amount. That would work too.

My post is just as interesting as Jill's breakfast. Dontcha think?

Go right ahead. I'm sure she'd steam for you.
