When I lived in PA it was twice a year but when emissions testing came
into play they changed it to one. Here in CT it is only after so many
years and you change owners. Some years ago a study was done
comparing states with mandatory inspection and those that had none.
Thee was no significant differences in accidents caused by faulty
equipment.

-------------------------

That is surprising! We don't have to have it tested on change of owner but
new cars are exempt for the first three years.

--------

Whoa, look at these ...

Those crazy rich kids! Their first car cost a hundred thousand bucks and will have 600 HP. They crash 'em a few minutes after taking possession. The dealers probably think that's a big hoot. One kid put the car's cruise control on and then climbed into the back seat. Of course, he crashed a few minutes after taking possession.

I did spot some expensive cars in London. We were on a bus tour and going around the perimeter of Hyde park. I could tell that something was up. My son and I spotted a Lamborghini yesterday. He identified it as a Murcielago. Beats the heck out of me what that was doing on our streets - must have been lost.
