He has real Dr. credentials, unless this is a lie.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehmet_Oz
None of that explains why he let Trump play him like a fiddle.

I don't dispute the credentials. Letting Trump play him was a huge
mistake.

The pretzel overpowered Bush while he was sitting down on a sofa
during his first term at the White House, but they still re-elected the
wimp.

You're saying that even before the show is aired this afternoon?
Just talking about sound bites?

Trump played him like a fiddle? I'm sure Oz would welcome Hillary on
his show too.. great ratings for featuring either of them.

This is why I somewhat like Trump. If he scares the rest of the world,
it's about damn time someone here did.

Yes. With discussing/not discussing/only discussing what Trump
approves of discussing the redo report of his weird doctors
"examination".

Jes like I didn't question the credentials of the machanical engineer
I worked with. OTOH, this is the same engineer that tried to sell me
green colored moth balls to increase my gas mileage. IOW, one can
have impeccable credentials and still be a freakin' moron.

OMG. I do hope most people don't feel that way.

The end of the world has been predicted many times. I'm suspecting if
Trump is elected we should all find the 1950's bomb shelters and duck
and cover.

You really do have no concept of how stupid that attitude is, do you?

Over the past year I've watched countless shows on Trump (and his
supporters). It's just mind boggling how little thought/analysis they
put into Trump and his random spur of the moment policies. They must
very, very insulated from the outside world.

Real doctors who have real patients do not have enough time
to host TV shows for fat asses to sit and watch on daytime
TV, while waiting for jerry springer show.

They should have put a chimp mask on the pretzel and substituted it
for the real Bush. It'd have to be better qualified, surely.

I saw am interesting one about a piano dealer who contracted to supply
$100,000 worth of grand pianos for Trumps Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic
city. He waited and waited for payment and faced one road block after
another before being told they had run into financial problems and
offered him 70 cents on the dollar. In one project there were 250
contractors who were not paid on time or in full. There have been
hundreds of liens on his properties.

He couldn't even handle when a black, *female* pastor firmly reminded
him that he wasn't there to give a political speech! The look on his
face was priceless and he got out as fast as he could. Of course, he
felt chagrined - so he posted a mean tweet that night, projecting his
insecurities onto her.

My fave comment about Trump comes from one real estate wag. He claims
they love that he puts his name on all his properties. That way, they
yknow precisely which properties to repossess.

I really like his penchant for cutting off power and water when people
stand up to him and get in his way. Or how he cut off medical
treatment to his nephew's son, purely out of spite over a family
dispute. The man isn't fit to be president.

Bush II (some of us prefer to call him "shrub") was a
complete douchebag. He was the president, though, so he was
like a shitty king or other ruler, In USA, we were forced to
follow him, not having the means for rebellion as we had in
the failed 1861 attempt.

These guys are given a lot of power, so we are not able to
counteract the shit they do until it is too late. There are
lots of examples. Nixon, for example, caused the
deaths/maiming of many thousands of young men in our country.

Both of our "parties" are bad. They both do evil. If you
think only the republicans, or only the democrats are evil,
then, you need to look within yourself, and question
yourself why.

I was reading that the profile of his supporters is male, mid-to old,
poor education level and never held terribly well paid jobs. Now in
retirement they feel angry and blame it on anyone available, Mexicans,
blacks, you name it. For some of them, if indeed they do vote for
him, it will be the first time they have voted.

Lol that's a good one. Someone said to me the other day that the
original Trump Tower went to Ivana as part of her divorce settlement,
is that correct?

They didn't want him in Flint but he went anyway. She told him the
ground rules and he broke them, so she stopped him.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Remember Ed, when we were growing up, we had a thriving blue-collar
middle class? Governmental regulation of damned near everything has
driven manufacturing out of our country. We no longer have a
military-industrial complex, because there is no industrial part.
People ranting about the M-I complex haven't a clue of what's going on.
We can't even produce military components to keep our weapons of war
working or microchips to run our ever increasing need for information
technology. It's all gone. Others do it somewhere else.
We need to put our people back to work again with a sense of purpose
and not dependent on governmental largesse that fewer and fewer people
keep paying for.
Vote for Hillary and support a historically and nowadays rapidly
declining status-quo and continual weakening of the USA with dangerous
consequences to the world.
Vote for Trump and support something different. God knows what.
I'm voting Trump.

[Ob:Food] I made the best something Alfredo yesterday. My wife says so,
so it's true.
Um... cooked Golden Grain thin spaghetti (not fettuccini according to
the package) with a butter, cream, slightly garlicky sauce with tossed
in parmesan, large chunks of big gulf shrimp and parsley. I really
should have taken a picture.

Everything that can be outsourced to countries with cheaper labour, will
be. Manufacturing, customer support, etc. This happens in all western
countries. Trump can't do much about that.
