Default REC: Sauce for greens (or any vegetable)

We heated this sauce and placed it on table in a small pitcher so that
everyone could dress their greens as they chose. It was a big hit.

Vegetable Sauce
1/3 cup butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons white vinegar
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the rest of the ingredients
and bring to a boil for 1 or 2 minutes. Serve over vegetables.

I am *SO* going to try this, Janet. Thanks for posting.
I forgot to renew my fresh garlic and soy sauce though.
It's on my list for tomorrow.
