Eat less/right and exercise more.

Works every time! in fact is the ONLY thing that works.

What about having dinners that consist of a kilo of meat, a kilo of
vegetables, but no carbs?

Worthless in the long term as it is not balanced. Who in their right
mind eats essentially 1/2lb meat at every meal?

Low carbers, or so I thought. I wonder if not eating any carbs is bad
for them, or unbalanced as you say.

Low carb= good No carb=bad

You need some carbs. The real problem for most is the added sugars
where you don't expect them and the large portions of them often served.
I never met a carb I didn't like though.

You know nothing about low carbing, and there is no such thing as eating "no
carbs" BTW.

I know some very smart Republicans. They differ from me on
some implementation details, but they want people to be
happy and healthy, just like me.

Oh, neither party has brains. I've found that the intelligence
of a group is inversely proportional to the number of members.
Luckily for democracy, the stupidity of various groups generally
(although not recently) pushes and pulls the overall aggregation
to a moderate middle.

Some individuals within each party have brains.
