So you're not glad that Gary's safe?

It only matters that both are safe.

Actually, since there was an issue about me being safe, we also should
have worried about Carol (cshank) being safe. After all, she only lives
about 8 miles from me.

Question: do any other regulars here live that close together? Just
wondering.

Since you all live close to each other and all three are *safe*
perhaps arrange a Ménage à Trois.

Yup, I'm on high ground surrounded by low. I couldn't have gotten out
until about noon Monday? That per the reports as I didnt actually try.
Most had cleared off but there were seeming critical blocks still along
Rosemont, Lynnhaven, and Silina? N Plaza still too at that time. Some
were trees, others were water.

Had a funny driving home today. A Dominion power truck followed by a
Cox truck followed by a Verizon truck followed by a tree removal
company...

We're supposed to get the southern part of your storm. There will be
much wind and some rain here on the eastern edge of the Sierra.
Everybody is worrying about their Halloween decorations. So am I.
They'll all end up in my yard.

Sounds like you'll wind up with free Halloween decorations!

I'm glad I procrastinated when it came to hanging the Halloween blinky
eyeball lights in the bushes out front. Can you imagine after a
hurrcane, people finding plastic eyeballs scattered in their yards?

Happy Halloween! LOL
