Not a faux pax to my knowledge Nancy, I'll see what I can do.

Might have to wait until I get home to post pics as I've had no luck uploading pics from the phone.

He's posting via a smartphone, dude. Via a Google app. I'm pretty sure

Where did I say I don't like seafood and shellfish. I love both so
long as they are fresh, not frozen. The only shellfish I don't eat is
lobster, only because I won't eat a creature that can live longer than
humans. I won't eat sea turtle either... it's on the menu at many
Central American eaterys and the one time I ate it at someone's house
I didn't know it was sea turtle. It was as good as a fine beef steak
but once I was told I never ate it again. Also they are killed for
their shells.

Those are not killed for their shells.

I enjoy clams and oysters on the half shell and conch soup is
delicious, conch fritters too. Mussels marinara is another favorite.
Fresh scungili is the best but nowadays most is canned. Common
shellfish shells are a waste product that needs disposal, in areas
where harvested their shells are used to make roadways along the
beaches. Um, "conchs" is not a word... conch is both singular and
plural, like shrimp.
Italian pepper biscuits (friselle) are traditional for spaghetti and
scungili marinara, serve over the biscuits, as served in NYC's Little
Italy. Anyone who appreciates spicy these are highly addictive:
http://carlydefilippo.com/2011/12/21...pper-biscuits/
You can always tell an Italian garden in Brooklyn, lined with endless
rows of scungilli shells, and in winter tarpaper and clothse line
wrapped fig trees with an old bucket on top.
