Default Nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving

Since Trump was elected, there is nothing to be thankful for this
Thanksgiving. None of my family will celebrate Thanksgiving this year.
Instead we well be posting notices around town, which read:

With Donald Trump as our President Elect, we as Americans have NOTHING
TO BE THANKFUL FOR THIS THANKSGIVING. Please DO NOT celebrate this
holiday in 2016. Trump will be the downfall of America. Hate has won!
Please pass this message on to everyone.

Donald Trump:

Not My President

The best thing about Trump is that he isn't anti gun.

Even though you're an obvious troll, I have to. I just have to.

Cripes. Suck it up. I voted for Clinton. She lost. Life goes on.
Don't be a whiner-baby who expects to get his way all the time.

Instead of complaining, do something useful to make things better
for someone else, and stop thinking about yourself for a few minutes.

There. Now I feel better. Thanks for the opportunity--you really
have made things better for someone else.

Good for you!!! Well said!

I see reports of the riots going on because Trump won. What do they hope to
achieve?? Do they think they can overturn the decision?

I understand they don't like it but they are acting like spoiled brats!!!

Sorry, but that is what it looks like from here

There's plenty of brattery on both sides.

I live in a college town. I really want to go down to the quad,
grab the megaphone away from someone, and shout, "Get over yourselves!"

Don't put yourself out that much, just go to fools book and harangue
them there!

Just listening to Zuckerberg justifying the 'news' coverage there -
doesn't he realise that with all the money he generates from using the
posters on fools book he is a form of media and should have some sort
of conscience.

How strange that many of these protestors were the same people who were
upset a couple weeks ago that Trump might not accept the results of the
election if he did not win, and that his supporters would protest. They
were upset that the Trumpsters would not accept the results of a
democratically run elections. Now they are doing exactly what they
thought the Trumpsters were going to do.

Sometimes they just like to protest. I saw an excellent example of that
in a video posted online. A group of students was protested at the base
of a set of stairs while their fearless leader was partway up the
staircase addressing his mini crowd. Some guy came running down the
stairs and knocked him fling. Some of the students grabbed the guy and
roughed him up a little. There were some cops present and they grabbed
the guy and hauled them off. Now the leader/victim is whining about the
cops arresting the man, claiming that he suffers from Aspergers and was
confused.

Here in Ann Arbor, a girl in a hijab was accosted by some asshole
who demanded she remove her hijab or he would set her on fire.

Not, you know, a riot. But in the absence of his testimony I can't
help but think that he was emboldened by Trump's victory.

This is why Trump had to win. There's no way that America could contain the rage of the Trump supporters if he had lost. The country would have gone up in smoke. The demonstrations going on is small potatoes in comparison.

Blame their parents who should have been altered... but it's not too
late for the whiners to make appointments at their local ASPCA.

Although it does point to the typical U.S. contempt for intelligence and
education. Granted, education isn't what it used to be, at any level.

It's the same from here. Liberals are just sore losers. All these
students skipping classes, take away all their federal funding for
college. High school students are just annoying teenagers having fun
joining a cause. Expell them all and make them repeat a year.

Sadly, Hillary said nothing to quell all this. She's still whining and
crying too. All this should be a high embarrasment to the Democratic
Party. Trump won fair and square. Deal with it.

Funny response a few days ago when Trump was asked about all this
annoying teenage protests. He looked at the camera and just said, "STOP
IT!" LOL

there are hundreds of such reports ranging from nursery school through
university.

They don't take defeat well at all. Remember Al Gore crying about
Florida chads?
All is fair until they lose then they all cry unfair. An embarrasment to
the
DNC, imo. Even Hillary is now playing along with the "it's so unfair"
crap.
I am so glad she lost.

Not all liberals. We've got some middle-aged liberals here who
are just shaking their heads at the outcome, but are pretty much
getting on with things.

Shoot, students have always been soreheads. They've been rioting
at the drop of a mortarboard since the Middle Ages.

Incorrect. He was telling his racist supporters to stop harassing minorities.

That is totally unacceptable. Only the fringe lunatics consider that to
be an appropriate response to years and years of news reports of Muslim
women getting similar treatment for not wearing one.

People like that don't need much reinforcement for their extreme views.

Good damned hypocrites is what they are. Two weeks ago people like them
were all bent out shape when they got it into their heads that the
Trumpsters were going to protest if the Donald didn't win. That would
have been such a bad way for them to behave and they should accept the
results of a democratic election. Now they are behaving in the same way
they suspected the Trumpsters would... but didn't.

Protests, not riots (at least for the most part)
And, as it turns out, many of the protesters didn't even vote so they really need to STFU.
It's a done deal unless the Electoral College does something remarkable and votes with the people (the ones that actually voted, I mean) so, yes, it's just a big waste of time and money. But, they're certainly allowed to say their piece. It's just a shame that they didn't say it when it would have been heard.

your news source is incorrect. Trump said he knew nothing about any
hate crimes occurring. Then he said if it is true then 'stop it.'

it was reported that of the people protesting in Portland, Oregon,
some of the protesters did not vote in Oregon.
