Beer needs a certain amount of alcohol to taste right. Light beer I suspect is analogous to urine.

Actually, we still have drive ins. VB BLVD, Norfolk-wards of Rosemont.

Yes, actually they do here, but as far as I know now, they only do the
carhop service to the window in the summer.

I had a great lamb shank recipe on the signature dish page on the RFC
page. It is braised shanks with carmelized onion. I have only fed it
to people who I know like lamb and they all loved it

http://www.recfoodcooking.org/sigs/D...%20Onions.html

I managed to deconstruct the braised lamb shanks that we get from a
local restaurant. I was going to write out what I remembered doing but
opted to Google "lamb shanks braised in beer" and got this one, which
turns out to be just about exactly what we did. It is a lot easier than
the other one:

Thanks, I'll give that a try the next time I see lamb shanks on sale.

I love your one-liners! Convince me that you aren't a Eliza bot
concocted by a student or prof from W. Virginia University.
Just for the hell of it, let's have three sentences in one post from
you on, let's say, WVU that describe the scenery as a person would.
I deeply believe you're not a computer program, sort-of...

Only one I knew then was on the corner of Witchduck Rd and VB BLVD.
That is like 10 miles or so from the oceanfront.
The building might still be there but it's been closed forever.
I googled A&W and only see one in downtown Norfolk. Bet that's not a
drive-in.

Do you mean drive-in or drive-thru? Drive-thru is window service like
the Golden arches clown taking your order and then you drive to the
window where some acne faced doofuss gives you your order grab bag
style not knowing what you got till you're a mile away... drive-in is
with car-hop service, hot babes hustling to your vehicle with all
their goodies bouncing to take your order and then hustling back with
all their goodies flouncing and hang your order on your vehicle window
with your burger, fries, ice cold mug, and with their luscious boobies
resting on the tray soliciting a good tip.
I always thought A & W meant all cup sizes between A & W. I don't
mind A cups, what red blooded male is going to turn away sweet
pubescent titties? In my experience the smaller boobies often have
the loveliest tumescent nipples... I've met many gals with huge floppy
udders, but with lentil sized nipples, really not pleasant. Just
thought I'd share.

Sheldon hasn't scored in years. He wouldn't be able to even if the
opportunity came up. His wife has him doing everything around the house.
Everything. He's a trained monkey now. Only his imagination still works
these days.

Why do guys always think in terms of "scoring"? Are we still in high
school? Aren't you like 104 years old? Are guys still counting first
base, second base? LOL

I'll check the name next time but it's a true drive in and there are
cars there getting meals.

I think you're full of doo doo... I've not seen or heard of a drive-in
restaurant with car hops in probably 30 years. There are still some
drive-in movies but I doubt there are anymore drive-in restaurants.

Well, it's a bit of a hike for you, but here's one about 11 minutes
from where I sit:

<https://www.facebook.com/Chick-Inn-Drive-In-116259148401861/>

Sorry they're on Facebook rather than having a real web site.

I imagine there are a lot more of them where the weather is
more conducive.
