I remember having them once when I was a kid and my mother tried making them palatable with that marshmallow topping. Despite my sweet tooth, I thought it was awful and didn't have sweet potatoes again for more than 20 years when they were served to me in a Cajun restaurant. They were much better without that sweet stuff. Yet, that first exposure still lingers so I tend to avoid them. |
