I guess the rest are secret!

The URL links to the 50th recipe. Replace the 49 at the end of the URL
with a 1 and it will take you to the beginning:

I count 48, but many are very slight variations of the same couple of
themes.

About two interesting ideas in there.

I hate the "click like a madman" style of presentation.

Click on the hyperlinks, which are underlined blue words.

to pick a nit, there are only a few ways to cook the potatoes. They do
give many combinations of foods to serve or mix them with though as a
singular dish.

I gave up at sweet potatoes with sugar glazed marshmallows and chocolate
shavings. Ugh, not on my dinner table.

Agreed. Sweet potatoes are one thing. Sweet potatoes with added sugar,
marshmallows and chocolate won't be found on my dinner table.

When it came back up (and I daresay it *would*), it would at least
look the same as it went in.

Sweet potatoes and yams never seemed to be common food around here. I
remember having them once when I was a kid and my mother tried making
them palatable with that marshmallow topping. Despite my sweet tooth, I
thought it was awful and didn't have sweet potatoes again for more than
20 years when they were served to me in a Cajun restaurant. They were
much better without that sweet stuff. Yet, that first exposure still
lingers so I tend to avoid them.

I gave up at mashed potatoes with white chocolate, which was the first
slide.

Probably go with "Cold Duck" or "Lonesome Charlie" so-called wines:-)
