Right? I do try to make her exercise by playing with her,
making her jump around chasing a fishing pole type of toy,
and also I make her run up and down the stairs for each
treat she gets.

Exercise options are a bit limited with cats. heh. But she
is up the 13.5 pounds and that's too much.

My dog needs to diet too - says our vet. Problem is she was so starved when
we got her she has become very spoiled! As I said to him, it wasn't cheap
getting her bum that big ... <g>

(laugh) Same here, I spent a lot of money getting her to this point.
She was born on the streets so she was worried about food and
obsessively so about water. She's a little spoiled, so I get it.
