These are the days when most of what everybody believes is not true. Mostly, we believe in these things because we want them to be true. My recommendation is that people assume that everything that they've seen in the last 10 years is not true. Here's a video that I assume is fake, the part they left out was where the clip says it was just an awesome joke on Jennifer Jason Leigh. That's a shame.

I have been a fan of their web cam for ages.

I was a big fan of the nest cam at Norfolk Botanical Garden in Virginia, but the
eagles had quite a tragic history (because the international airport located itself
near the Garden), and despite outcries from the public and biologists, the Eagles
we're encouraged successfully to abandon their beautiful real estate and go
elsewhere. It still makes me sad to think of it, but it was for the best for both
birds and airline passengers.

We have quite a well-known nest in Decorah, Iowa, which was featured regularly
on the national news reports. That pair's nest is located close to (above) a fish
hatchery, I believe. There is another Iowa nest cam farther south along the
Mississippi River...in Davenport, Iowa, I,believe. I have not checked on either
of these cams for a few years now, so am not sure if they are still active cams.

One can Google for eagle nest cams, and find quite a few. Some have more
active cameras than others. You can also just Google for more general "nest
cams," and find some for osprey, falcons, and condors, to name a few.

Get over yourself, Gary. You're mighty arrogant for a dumb Southerner
and you're rude as all get out, so that makes us even.

I opened the paper this morning to the headline that the local
power company is removing osprey nests from electrical poles
because they're being injured.

There are osprey platforms built here and there, I gather
they are constructing more.

There are osprey platforms on Dataw and the birds are using them.

They build them a platform all their own here and voila, they stay
with it and regard the poles as not so comfortable anymore
