Default Merry Christmas

I hope everyone is having a great time over this holiday season.

Things are surprisingly calm. The filling for tonight's beef and
mushroom pie is in the oven cooking low and slow. In a little while I
will make up the pastry so it will be ready to go. Christmas baking is
all done. All the grocery shopping is done. The presents are bought and
wrapped. I have to run the vacuum through the house, take the dog for a
walk and get ready to enjoy a nice Christmas Eve.

Our son will be here in a couple hours and soon after my nephew should
arrive with his family.

Tomorrow we go to my brother's for Christmas dinner. Their daughter and
SiL are coming from southern California. He is going to be in shock over
the weather... +4 C. He is usually a major weather jinx and brings
extreme cold and snow, which tend to reinforce the stereotype of a
Canadian winter.

Merry Christmas to all.

+1
Merry/Happy whatever your seasonal celebration may be. If traveling, I wish
you safe travels.

Fot those of you who observe Festivus, let's forego the airing of grievances
for now. That seems to have already been done for much of the year. 8-)

Change Cujo to Juno for email.
==========

Thank you. To you too))

We're getting together for a BBQ this afternoon, forecast is for 30°C
and sunny skies, so we're finally seeing some normal weather for this
time of year.

Happy holidays to you and everyone else.

Where I am, it's Christmas day now, so Merry Christmas to all as well.
Looking forward to the day after and everyone telling about what they had
for their Christmas dinner.

Allow me to start it then.

I will be making ham with raisin sauce, baked sweet potato,
broccoli with cheese melted on it. I also have a
single-serving pumpkin pie for dessert.

Hope you have a great day and meal!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

All that's left to do is make cauliflower gratin, pack up the
car and head north this afternoon. For once in my life, don't
forget the cream puffs in the freezer!

The Canadian crew is in town unexpectedly, so it will be a
nice crowd of us.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Ours is prepped but not cooked yet. We will eat it this evening.

We are having turkey and chicken (I don't liked turkey), Roast Potatoes and
Roast parsnips, Chestnut and Sausage meat stuffing, Maple roasted Brussels
Sprouts and gravy!

Hope everyone enjoys their Christmas dinner)

That sounds really good. Enjoy. We had the big party yesterday and last
evening, so today I will make ham, baked potatoes, lima beans and corn, and
salad. It will just be the two of us, and tired after cooking and cleaning
up the mess from yesterday, so am glad to be just us today.
