What's the point of buying a ceramic knife if it's not dishwasher
safe?

> 1Blade Cinters With Misuse

I don't know what "cinters" means, but any knife or sharp object can
be damaged with misuse.

I think they've figured out how to sharpen ceramic knives at home.

What happened to "quality" construction?

"Dulls quickly" makes the "stays sharp" pro a lie.

Ceramic knives might be sold at give away prices, but now I know why.
As inexpensive as they may seem, they are a waste of money.

I have three ceramic knives and all three of them are badly chipped. I
have a good quality knife sharpener and a special hand held ceramic
knife sharpener, but they are nowhere near as sharp as they used to be.
The first few years I had them they were razor sharp. I don't think that
they were abused. They just aren't as durable as steel. My wife still
uses them regularly, but I tend to use the steel knives.

That's been my experience with them, total waste.

We have two of them. Very sharp. Seems to be holding up well. I was
not sure how good they would be at that price, but we were pleasantly
surprised. Give it a shot for the small monetary risk.

Can you clarify how it "stays sharp" and "dulls quickly" at the same time?

My ceramic paring knife does beautifully in the dishwasher, but it's not really any sharper than my other knives. The tip is now missing, and I don't have any idea where it went. My favorite paring knives are Victorinox.
