I don't have any interest in belonging to the DAR, although I do have the documentation
required for membership. My mom gave it to me in case I had a girl child, but both mine were boys. I believe the group is much more active in the east, which can be understood easily; and that they are responsible for encouraging continuing interest in the history of our country's beginnings, and the preservation of national historic sites and related treasures. So, good for them...someone should be doing those things. N. |
