Default Hot and Spicy Oregano

I bought this at Home Depot the other day. Wish I would have pinched
off a leaf and tasted it before I bought it. Hopefully, when I add it
to other ingredients it won't seem so strong. I can handle some pretty
hot/spicy stuff but dang, I was surprised as to the level of spice
this has.

thanks for posting that. I had no idea there was such a thing. I'll
have to watch for it. Does it smell like oregano?

Yes, and it tastes like oregano. When you first start chewing it
tastes just like oregano, then the spicy kicks in. Some leaves are
spicier than others. It doesn't matter if they are the younger leaves
or not.
