The brand is POM. I can find it in the produce section of my
supermarket. There are a few varieties. Some are mixed with mango
juice; some are mixed with other juices. I haven't tried it yet. I've
been put off by the price. As I remember, there was actually less than
a pint in those oddly shaped bottles, and the price was still several
dollars.

Last week a huge billboard on a busy street was taken over by a POM ad.
It had a massive photo of one of those distinctive bottles (hourglass
shaped) and the banner "fountain of youth".
I smell millions in advertising.

One of the Food TV programs last weekend had a non-alcoholic drink
like this:

Put several frozen-orange-juice (ice) cubes in a glass; lightly crush
some fresh mint leaves and drop them in - half fill with pomegranate
juice and then fill to the top with club soda. It looked yummy.

Grenadine is a pomegranate syrup and has been used for years in bars to
make drinks like Tequila Sunrise and Singapore Sling.
