Default OT Super Bowl Tickets

A friend of mine has two tickets for the 2017 Super Bowl, both box
seats. He paid $1,700 for each ticket
He didn't realize when he bought them that this was going to be on the
same day as his wedding - so now he can't go.

If you are interested and would like to go in his place, it's at St
Peter's Church, in New York City , at 5 pm
Her name is Sally, she's 5'4", about 115 lbs, good cook, makes $90,000 a
year! She will be the one in the white dress....

Let me know if you're interested.

I love that joke and will send it to a few others.

SteveW is correct though in saying that it's an old one (with the
prices)

I looked it up and average Super Bowl tickets are around $5,000
and that's not box seat price. Add maybe another 10K for those.

I find it hard to believe that *anyone* would pay that much to watch
it in person. $5,000 + for one day at the stadium. About 20 minutes
of actual game?

I realize that being in a giant stadium is a fun event. I went to
see a few baseball games back in the 60's. It's just fun to be there.

Not for that price though, not in any scenario. You can sit at home and
watch it for free and get the best angles and close-ups right in your
living room. Even better if you have a big-screen tv.

I do think that one Super Bowl game is wrong though. World Series takes
the best two teams and lets them win with 4 out of seven games.

Super Bowl should do the same. Even the best team might just
be having a bad day. Think of all the revenue they would make also
by doing the Super Bowl with 3-5-7 games.

Not only that, all of us football fans would get many extra games to
watch. With chicken wings for snacks, it would a total holocaust
for american chickens. Even worse than that for american turkeys
on Thanksgiving. :-D

I vote for at least 3 Super Bowl playoff games.

That's what play offs leading to the Super Bowl are for.
