I remember seeing her from time to time, when I was a very little girl,
on the Dick Van Dyke Show. Then later on her own show, Mary Tyler
Moore. What I remember most is her production company used a take-off
of the Metro Goldwyn Mayer logo (a lion roaring) and replacing the lion
with a kitten meowing.

I've been watching her show lately on the Sundance Channel, I still enjoy
it.

Not sure why I always think of that episode where Ted and maybe Lou went
to Mary's house to get something and she was in the bathtub and they just
walzed right into the bathroom. She said incredulously "I'm taking a bath!"
and when no one seemed to care she said "....naked!!!" Then they suddenly
became aware of the impropriety of the situation. Just like real life. Too
funny.

A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants. LOL

What's amazing to me is how many of her television colleagues are still
alive. For some reason I thought Ed Asner and Dick Van Dyke were dead,
and possibly Cloris Leachman. Surprise! They're not. Of course Betty
White is still kicking at 95 years old.

Dick Van Dyke spoke about her in a news clip just after she died

Cloris Leachman was On Dancing With The Stars just a few years ago,
in great shape, and Dick Van Dyke is married to a 45 year old (or so),
still kicking up his heels and still writing computer games. I haven't
seen Ed Asner since he would do some late night appearances.

That's some clean living.

Ed Asner was on Bones last week. Later this season, Betty White will
make another guest appearance on the same show. (Loved her in Lake Placid.)

Cool. I knew he was still kicking but I didn't know what he was up to.

I forgot to mention Dick VD will appear in the Mary Poppins sequel.

And, when she was cast as Laura Petri, he though she was too young for
him.

And her company produced a LOT of shows. Lucille Ball's company gave us
Star Trek and Mission Impossible, but MTM's company leads in volume.

Bah! 9 years is not bad, unless she was under age!
