I got it bad too. Wherever I go, it's always going to be out of my comfort zone. I have a skinny zone. Hope that snowplow comes by soon.

Wrong, Cindy's posts look fine.

Don't give other people advice. When it comes to Usenet, you're the
most clueless poster around.

Cards and letters certainly mean a lot to my 93 year old aunt. She
doesn't own a computer, but even if she did I know she'd much prefer to
send and receive actual cards. With a little jotted, personal note.
(Not some Hallmark writer's idea of what a card should say.)

This is the aunt who is still sharp as a tack. Up until last year, on
holidays, she put on the to-do. Her kids and grandkids and great grands
would come. This year, she didn't cook for Easter this year. She's now
using a walker. She's had a pretty good run, though. And as I say,
she's sharp as a tack. Still has her mental faculties.

Sometimes, for no particular reason, I write her a brief letter and
include a picture of my cat Buffy. When I knew her (1968, 1969 were the
only years we ever lived near enough for me to see her and her family)
she had cats. When she got older she switched to dogs. She still has
one dog left, something called a goldendoodle? (I don't know much about
dog breeds.)

I digress. My Aunt Jule and I talk on the phone on or around the major
holidays. I don't mind because I know she won't be around forever.
She's sweet. But she's a real gabber. We all know I am not really a
talk on the telephone person.

It's much easier *on the ear* for me to type and print a letter and some
Buffy pics. Or just jot out note on a blank inside card to say hi.

I actually prefer getting cards and letters that someone put some
thought into. As you both say, email is good for some things. But it's
not nearly as personal.

Don't ever think that I give a hoot about the formatting of anybody's post. The only thing that counts is what a person says. The reality is that yoose people's complaints about formatting is mostly an excuse to bitch about content that you don't care for. I don't care if someone uses Google Groups or not. However, if you bitch, whine, and moan, about the way you see my posts, you're going to always get the same answer from me - fix your newsreader or get a different one.

You should shut your mouth but I don't think you know how - soooo much
trouble for Ophelia to defend you right or wrong every time you open
it.

Looks like you believe this is a moderated newsgroup and you have the right to tell others how, when, and what, to post. You must think this is the 1990's and you're the Queen Bee. I love this place because of delusional folks like you - am I a bad person?

Not a bad person, just childish and a bit simple. There are lots of
worse people than you.
