Default Happy Easter to all here

11 years ago today I rode my bike to the oceanfront early to maybe
catch a good Easter sunrise picture. I think this worked well.

Naw, I was happily snoozilating then. Plotting cookery and breads.

That's one thing that has always amazed me. People sleeping late.
I *always* get up before dawn even on days off.
I've seen so many amazing pre-sunrises right on the ocean shore.
I always think - people don't realize what they are missing.
A sunrise pic can be nice but it's not near the experience of
actually being there in person and view the entire panorama
in real life.

The best sky shows are when way out at sea, a 360º panarama and no
street lights... sun sets/rises are awesome but the real show star is
at night. With my big back yard I get to see a lot of very
spectacular sky shows, especially watching storms, cloud formations
are amazing. The night sky here is very starry too.

Very nice... I'd have stayed awhile and taken a shot evey ten minutes
until the sun set.

So I should have stayed there and taken a pic every 10 minutes for about
13 hours? heheh

That was a sunRISE pic, Sheldon, not a sunset one.

Either way it doesn't take 13 hours... maybe 45 minutes. I'll spend
an hour taking pics of some critter, I like taking pics of a spider
knitting a web in my window.
