Allow me to point out before PLONKING mahemp... this is exactly what
dsl1's "Google Groups" are good for. Dredging up posts from 1996. Hope
this person doesn't expect to get an answer, although I do vaguely

DAK, Drew A Kaplan, went out of business in 1994 but he did sell a lot
of bread machines.

Yes. I still use an X10 programmable light controller I bought from DAK
back in the 1980s. They had a lot of electronics and stereo stuff.

Sorry, I don't own Google Groups. I've never dredged old topics from the past although I can't say that I wouldn't ever do it. I don't have any problem with someone doing it though. Yoose guys would probably do it too but yoose Usenet servers don't have the moxie to archive posts more than a couple of months. What's so great about that?
