![]() I needed the oven at 450 tonight and timed it. Seven minutes and after about three i checked and yes the upper element was deployed as well. I wonder if perhaps the upper element in yours does not come on and that's why it takes so long? Might be worth investigating if so, might be a simple fix. |

No, it doesn't come on, but it's not supposed to come on. The manual said it's normal for it to take between 15-20 minutes to come to temp with the sealed element. Thanks for the suggestion though. It's a GE self cleaning with steam option, sabbath mode, etc. Cheri |
