The person puts on weight, it gets harder to do things, they gain more wait, it gets even harder. They might decided to diet and get exercise, but they end up getting hurt, so they sit around recuperating and gaining more weight. That is why I wonder about the cause and effect when I see really really overweight people in motorized scooters. I appreciate that sometimes people sometimes gain weight because they have had an injury and they eat out of boredom, but there are also those who need them because they gained so much work they are no longer capable of walking. Their families and their doctors are really letting them down by enabling that lifestyle. |
