Default Interesting but odd? dish

I drove by my local "Beach Pub" the other day and they had the specials
of the day on the outside menu sign.

Lunch special:
- Pork chop with crabmeat and bearnaise sauce. Huh!

I never would have thought of that combination. I do wish I had gone
there to try it though. This place is basically rated as the best
restaurant at the beach amoung the local crowd and it's alway crowded
there at lunch and dinner times.

They were also featured on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Drives" a few years
ago. "GUY" with the bleached spikey hair loved their food. heheh

This place is only 1/2 mile from my house. I've eaten there only twice
for lunch. Once for the best hamburger (with the works) that I've ever
eaten, then another time for a soft shell crab sandwich which was also a
killer meal (legs sticking out from the bun - like a spider sandwich)

It's so local to me, I should go there more often.

It's a cheapened version of Veal Oscar:

Yes, but not in a long, long time. I liked it when I was young
and couldn't afford it. Now I don't eat stuff like that,
for the most part. I'd rather "spend" my Hollandaise on
Eggs Benedict (sauce BĂ©arnaise being an offshoot of Hollandaise).
