It's the only kind I would buy, but mine is years and years old with no
problems and I haven't dealt with a recall'

Apart from the recall:
I know that the manuals tell you never to sharpen the blade and get a new
one instead - I do sharpen them. Works nicely for me.

I blast horseradish roots and have no problems. My gripe is the top feeder does not come apart.
7 cup. Maybe 15 years old.

I imagine they need a huge amount of blades and can only make them so
fast and mail them out. At least they stepped up and took responsibility.

Mine is about 28 years old and the same model as yours. It is still
going strong and has many, many kilos of bread dough over the years. If
it does pack up, I'll buy a French made Robot Coupe. However, I'll have
to drive down to a Williams-Sonoma in the US as, for some strange
reason, they don't sell them here.

There's a chance that a restaurant supplier might stock them but W-S
Canada doesn't. It doesn't bother me atm as my Cuisinart still works well.
