I have said it before and will say it again. Sometimes people screw up
and change names and attitudes. To be constantly nymshifting to get
around filters is throwing in the towel and admitting to the world and
to yourself that you are a complete loser.

Wrong, Dave.
Seems to me that they offered you an early retirement just to get rid of
you.

Says he man who is marginally employed long past the age where I was
able to retire with a full pension. The government I worked for wanted
to reduce the size of the public service, so they worked out a deal that
included dropping our retirement qualification from a 90 factor to 80,
so I was able to retire at the age of 53, and with a pension that is
likely more than you could dream of earning on a record year.

To be fair, I threw Dave a cheapshot so I fully expected him to fire
back at me.

I had to look up what he said that made me say that to him.

Wrong, Dave.
Seems to me that they offered you an early retirement just to get rid of
you.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

So that was it. He was calling others losers.
I have no problem with Dave but I'll call him on some things that he says.

He can't hurt me with his, "I have more toys than you" comments. We both
took different career directions and I'm fine with my decisions. I
raised my daughter for 13 years by myself with no child support. I made
business decisions to make that work well for her sake. It worked and I
don't regret what I did even though I did sacrifice a nicer career.

We (Dave and me) are both happy now so evidently I don't need as many
toys as Dave does. :-D

Oh? He had suggested that my employer dumped me. I had a good job and
retired at 53 with a decent pension.

You should try reading that again. I said that when people are
constantly name shifting to get past filters they are admitting to
themselves and to the world that they are losers. They know that they
are in a lot of filters so they have to come up with new names to try to
slip past them. The constant changes are the sign that they know they
are being ignored.

Perhaps these people with me in their killfile shouldn't be talking
about and PINGing those people, then. That says you want to dish it
out, but you're too much of a pussy chicken-shit to deal with the
reactions. You're the expert at this, Davey. Whine has taken that
lesson from you. You two are so much alike in your hypocrisy and
overly-verbose worthlessness here.

ObFood: I really like the Safeway/Randalls bagels. Jalapeno
cheddar for me. Great texture and perfect chew. Better than anything
from New Yawk.

I couldn't agree more, Wayne. You said that very well. Thank you for
your post! A wonderful contribution to rfc. Did I thank you yet? If
not, thanks!

At least WE have some money to flaunt whereas you poor scrapple-land
owners are still scratching to feed your families.
I received over 1100 times from the sale of my land over what I paid for it.
I'm happy.
