Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It's pouring down rain
again today (thunderstorms are typical this time of year). I'm watching the hummingbirds sipping at the feeder. The feeder hangs under the eaves so it is sheltered, but the tiny birds are getting soaked getting to it. It must be hard to be a hummingbird. ![]() Thank you again for the kind birthday wishes! I haven't read here in a while and didn't get to your birthday thread yet, or maybe never. But I'm glad I wasn't totally late in sending wishes! -- ღ.¸¸.œ«*¨`*œ¶ Cheryl |

I got a birthday phone call from my 93 year old aunt today. I don't think she's pregnant, either. ![]() Jill |

She may live another 30 years, but she could check out in five leaving a young child with money but no mother. Irresponsible, IMO. |

I'd need to see a varifiable citation... a woman with several doctorate degrees has to be intelligent enough not to give birth to a child at age 67. http://www.todayifoundout.com/index....y-5-years-old/ |

I remember after I transferred out of the equipment section and had to go back there for something with my new co-worker. We were talking to one of the mechanics who had recently remarried (a much younger woman) and had a child. My co-worker asked how old he was and the mechanic said 55. Jim said "Are you ****ing nuts?" Think about the poor kids of elderly parents. Aside from the fact that the older the mother is the more likely she is to have problems, older parents don't have the energy to deal with babies and young children and they are less likely to have a network of support. The kids will still be in high school when the parents retire. My wife's father was almost 50 when she was born. He was older than my grandmother. |
