Default Egg peeler

I just saw this on the Today show. $18 to peel an egg
https://www.thegrommet.com/the-negg-...led-egg-peeler

It does the same thing a mayonnaise jar does and for $3 you get a quart
of may with it. Incredible what people will buy.

This brings to mind the old saying "A fool and his money are
soon parted."

Its the kind of item I'd expect to see in a closeout/surplus/junk store
a year from now for $1.

The best egg peelers are the ones hanging at the end of our
arms.

Remember that gizmo from 6 or 7 years ago that would crack the
egg for you? The 'EZ Egg Cracker.' I don't think it even
lasted a year.

It doesn't even peel the egg. It just cracks the shell all over. Note in the last
"Direction" it says to " easily remove the egg from the shell," or something
like that. Ridiculous to the max.

I'm thinking of getting one of these to make egg prep easier in the
morning.

Wash down with a steam wand in most places. There are larger models too.
