Default I baked a cake

I baked a cake this morning. It has fresh peaches.

I'm thinking I can get a job in a bakery or consulting firm as a Cake
Stylist or maybe a Cake Architect. You don't just get a slice of cake
you can specify a section you want. I'm really proud of it

The top came out like a ring when I flipped it and the bottom was stuck
so I used a small spatula to get it in sections.

You are supposed to put batter, apples, batter, apples. I used peaches
with more juice and probably would have fared better mixing rather than
layering.

It does taste OK. just had a piece of it.

That's the main thing since you're not a contestant on the Great Bake Off.
Enjoy your effort.

If the fruit is dusted with flour and dropped individually onto the
batter they won't sink to the bottom during baking.

Too hot and too low in the oven.

And thank you for the laugh! ;-D

Reminds me of my father: He was always up earlier than anyone else in our
house. You could tell by the scraping sound when he was correcting his
toast...

Bye, Sanne.

I'll guess the dark top is some sort of chocolate frosting...?

No. just overdone on the bottom. Not very thick though so it does not
have a burned taste in the cake.

Is that an example of a "post apocalyptic" cake? If so, then it
fits the tee - heheheh! Sure gave me a giggle, thanks!
