Default Hatch chilis

I got my Hatch chili's today at Winco for $1.67 per pound. My city
is getting right up there. A couple of years ago it was a novelty
when Whole Foods carried Hatch. Now everybody in town does.
Tomorrow I will char then in my Weber along with my batch of Anaheim
peppers. cough, cough. You don't want to stand down wind.

Go ahead and brag, I don't care (sniff)

Sounds fine except for the giardiniera -- I just don't get that.
I like something similar that I have canned several times. A
mustard/turmeric sauce, cauliflower, onions, green tomatoes and
peppers but not just the vinegar brine like in the giardnera.. Don't
you have any of the mufaletta olive salad left? That would be good.

I'd prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away.
There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo.
