Default Pics of my salt & pepper shakers

I have no idea why these salt & pepper shakers are shaped like eggs.
Two sets of them came with the set of Mom's wedding china.

For the literally challeged, the holes on the top spell out "S" and "P"!
I suppose it's in case you get confoozled when you sit down and ask
someone to please pass whatever.

Yep, they're egg shaped. Decorated with platinum.

This set of Mom's china came with all sorts of odd things. Each table
setting includes a tiny little ashtray. Back in the day everyone
smoked. Napkin rings. Little juice cups. Also little crystal S&P
shakers but they aren't nearly as much fun as the ones with the holes on
top that spell "S" and "P".

Good thing they form the letters S and P because they both have the same
number of holes.
