Default Dinner on the patio and rain

Dang. It did not look great out there when I opted to have dinner on the
patio. My wife had a lamb chop for her and a pork chop for me. It
looked okay when I was asked and made the decision to eat on the patio.
When dinner was ready and I went out to the patio it looked a little
threatening to the west, but it was warm and there was a gentle breeze.
I was about 3/4 finished my supper when I looked up and say a wall of
rain about 100 yards away. It hit us within seconds and we had to
gather up everything on the table and head inside.

Just finishing up a gully washer here with lots of lightning. Except
for stepping out on the front porch to see it coming down that was
it for me.

So sorry! Where I live this time of year is always hit or miss for
grilling vs. rain. I don't have an outdoor dining table so I rarely
have to worry about dashing inside with plates.
