I saw that the weather people had you within the heavy rain band -- 8
inches, I think. I knew you had a creek nearby. I know what you mean
about weather breaking up around you and then reforming. We live in
the waist of an hour glass and that is exactly what happens. Still,
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'd prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away.
There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo.

We jump across creeks in Nevada. We would call your creek a stream or
river. During drought years, your creek carries more water than the
Truckee, Humboldt, Walker and Carson Rivers at low ebb. But when those
rivers flood, Boy Howdy!
I expect the Forty Mile Desert of 49er fame to be mostly flooded this
year and for a few years to come thanks to last year's rainfall. It
happened in the early eighties when we had lakes in the middle of
nowhere. Few were hurt, because it all ran into the desert.
You don't live in a desert. Be safe and prudent.

I'm happy to hear it, too. Many places in TX have been very hard hit
with flooding, lack of power, etc.
