Tasty Baking sold out years ago and the quality is not as good as it
once was. They are owned by Flowers Foods.

Those are mail order prices, they cost a lot less at regular stores.

That's amazingly cheap considering all the goodies they put in Little
Debbie Swiss Rolls:

Sugar, Corn Syrup, Water, Enriched Bleached Flour (Wheat Flour,
Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Riboflavin
[Vitamin B2], Folic Acid), Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and
Cottonseed Oil with TBHQ to Preserve Flavor (Contributes a Trivial
Amount of Trans Fat), Dextrose, Palm and Palm Kernel Oil, Cocoa,
Soybean Oil, Eggs, Whey (Milk), Leavening (Baking Soda, Sodium
Aluminum Phosphate), Emulsifiers (Sorbitan Monostearate, Polysorbate
60, Soy Lecithin, Mono- and Diglycerides, Polyglycerol Esters of Fatty
Acids), Salt, Corn Starch, Colors (Yellow 5, Red 40, Blue 1), Sorbic
Acid (to Retain Freshness), Egg Whites, Natural and Artificial
Flavors.

I wish we good get them here!

Make your own. Just follow a regular cake recipe and add some Aluminum
Phosphate, Sorbitan Monomstearate, etc. I'd double the Polyglycerol
Esters of Fatty Acids though. You can never have too much of that yummy
stuff.

There are alternatives to prefab supermarket crap. Even at the

I don't know the prices nor do I care, I didn't even check the prices
at that web site. When I was 12 years old I'd occasionally buy a pack
of three Yankee Doodles for a nickle and share with with some cute
12 year old gal who was just beginning to grow boobies, a Yankee
Doodle was a sweet trade for doodling with her sweet boobies.

All I asked is "what's your favorite?", I don't give a rat's B-Hind
about the prices but obviously a food bank dwarf who mostly eats for
free worries about costs.

I never cared about the price of baked goods, my father drove a
Duggan's delivery truck for 27 years, we always had more baked goods
in the house than we could eat. If anyone likes sweet cup cakes
Duggan's cup cakes had a good 1/4" of icing on top that could be
peeled off whole; chocolate, vanilla, strawberry.

When I read the subject line my first thought was "Sheldon's
eating a duck?" "Would this be one of the varieties of
duck that visit his property?"

Those are not available here. Most do not look appealing. I do like honey
buns but are so sweet that after the first bite, I don't want any more. If
anything, I would try the pie, but again would likely only eat one bite.
Once in a while, I will buy a single, similar looking pie. I take a bite
from one end, Angela from the other and then we dispose of it. One bite is
enough.

Keep it that way. Here come the ingredients of Drake's Ring Dings:

-Sugar,
-Corn syrup
-Water
-Enriched bleached wheat flour (flour, barley malt)
-Ferrous sulfate (iron)
-"B" vitamins (niacin, thiamine mononitrate (B1), riboflavin (B2),
folic acid)
-High fructose corn syrup
-Partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil
