Scientists can still have opinions. They may be good at what they do, but they are still human. There was a time when the top scientists of the world thought the sun revolved around the earth. More recent, how about these guys: Brain power: Scientists at the Institute for Animal Health in Edinburgh secured a £200,000 government grant to find out whether BSE has jumped the "species barrier" from cows into sheep. An inquiry is now under way after it was found that scientists had been mistakenly testing cattle brains instead of sheep brains for five years. Keep an open mind and don't be afraid to question. |
