Monday is our Thanksgiving, and it looks like it is going to be a lovely
weekend, though rainy in the holiday itself. We expecting my son, my brother, my nephew and his wife and step daughter. We have a 12 pound fresh turkey ordered. Sides will probably be mashed potatoes, butternut squash green beans and salad. I have to make two pies, one pumpkin and one apple. |

I cooked turkey about a month ago, and we've got leftovers in the freezer. My husband defrosts some when he needs comfort food. Cindy Hamilton |
