I wake up at 0600hrs (pre-dawn). As the light increases, I realize
it's snowing! Now, at 0735hrs, it beginning to come down harder. Almost 1 inch! Usually do not see snow fer another 4-y6 wks. We haven't even lost the leaves on our trees, yet! Looks like it might be a hard Winter, this year. 8| nb |

I went to the Y for a shower and the locker room TV was on the weather channel where they were showing the snow in Fort McMurray. |

Maybe six or seven years ago, Southern New Hampshire had a huge snow storm on Halloween that left us with no electricity, phone or Internet for a week. Miserable.

Get out your long johns. It looks to be an early and cold winter. We had hard frost last night and the first leaves had just begun to fall.
