I didn't know that you were talking about a microwave/convection oven. It's odd that you have to preheat that. We used to have a range with a microwave mode in the oven. I never used it because I was scared to death of the thing! |

I have a bazillion of them here, some in books but more in softcopy. If you want some in a new line to play with, let me know what sounds interesting but you havent tried yet and I'll see what I have in that arena. One of the new things I am playing with is 'Bakers Brew Coffee Spice' (Savory Spice Shop product). I'm checking various black pumpernickel types over and so far I'm liking it mixed with black cumin seed and Kala Jeera leaf (the actual leaf, not the wikipedia mis-attribute that says Kala Jeera is black cumin seed and very hard to find). -- |

And it so poorly tells you when it's ready. Surprizing, otherwise I like the microwave. -- I love a good meal! That's why I don't cook. |

Seems to use only convection, not microwave too. No effort. Just prepared the chicken thighs - breaded, sprinkled on salt, pepper & garlic. Put in glass casserole dish just in case microwave was used. Set weight to 2.5 lb, lowest available (chicken was a bit less than 2 lb). Hit Start button. 45 minutes later had four very nicely done chicken thighs. -- I love a good meal! That's why I don't cook. |

I use 1 C and 2 tbs water. 1/4 C olive oil 3 eggs (warm them in hot water) 1 tbs cider vinegar Mix thoroughly and put in bread machine pan. Dry ingredients: 3 1/3 C flour mix - room temp. 1 tbs Xanthan gum or Guar gum 1 tsp salt 2/3 C dry milk powder 2 tbs sugar (or agave or honey) Mix thoroughly and pour on top of wet ingredients. Scoop out a depression and add 2 1/4 tsp (1 pkg) bread machine yeast Use gluten free bread machine setting. I don't have a GF setting so first use dough cycle (About 20 min. of kneading, 1 hr 10 min rise time. When done remove pan from bread machine. This protects you from the paddle stirring the bread when you change the menu - this will ruin the loaf - GF bread won'r rise properly twice. Then use bake cycle. Replace pan. Use again if necessary until bread reaches about 200 deg internally. In my machine this takes 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hr. This is a great bread in a fairly large loaf. I also make a smaller sandwich bread using sweet soy flour. Want that recxupe too? -- I love a good meal! That's why I don't cook. |
